There are five approaches to getting a bachelor's degree in Safety.
As a freshman student, you can complete a bachelor's degree in Safety in four years with proper academic advisement from our Department Academic Advisor.
If you're already a student at ISU, but not yet majoring in Safety, it is easy to change your major. You must talk to our Department Academic Advisor, who can change your major and then develop a plan of study that will include appropriate prerequisite and major courses. Providing you have completed your general education courses and have completed the appropriate prerequisite courses, you can complete your Safety degree in as little as two years.
As a transfer student from a community college or another university, you must meet with the Department Academic Advisor to guide you through the university admitting process. The advisor will also assist you with developing a plan of study that will include all the required prerequisite courses and major courses.
