Four-Year Plan of Study in Safety

Important Notes: 120 hours required for the degree, including at least 45 hours in General Education courses. These general education courses (taken primarily in the freshman and sophomore years) provide the foundation for the students' college education. Some prerequisite courses that are required for the major receive credit as General Education electives. For elective choices in each category, see the Undergraduate Catalog.

If a transfer student has completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree or an Associate of Science (A.S.) Degree or the Illinois Articulation Initiative Agreement at an approved college in Illinois, he/she will have met Illinois State's General Education requirement. For information on the Illinois Articulation Initiative, see the Undergraduate Catalog.
