Prior to joining ISU, Jim earned a masters degree in Education and worked as a high school teacher. He has been working in desktop support and as a lab manager for almost three years for the departments of Health Sciences and for the Criminal Justice Sciences. Interests include ballroom and swing dancing with his wife (they met at a dance), visiting Chicago restaurants and museums, and hanging out at the German-American club in Peoria.
