New freshmen, new transfer students and internal transfer students (current Illinois State University wanting to change their majors) desiring admittance to the Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) formerly known as the Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) program must meet the admission requirements established by the University.
Please review guidelines and projected application deadlines found on the Office of Admissions Web site. Priority consideration for admission will be given to outstanding students whose applications are complete and postmarked during the priority filing period for the term for which they are applying. Internal transfer students must also have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 and a grade of C or better in courses required by the major.
Transfer students and internal transfer students should schedule an appointment with the departmental academic advisor for information.
Evidence of hepatitis B immunization is required for enrollment in some MLS courses.
