Four-Year Plan of Study in Medical Laboratory Science formerly known as Clinical Laboratory Science

 * plus 45 hours minimum in General Education courses. These general education courses (taken primarily in the freshman and sophomore years) provide the foundation for the students' college education. Some prerequisite courses required for the major, may also be taken as General Education (inner core) electives. For elective choices in each category, see the ISU Undergraduate Catalog.

If a transfer student has completed an Associate of Arts Degree or an Associate of Science Degree or the Illinois Articulation Initiative Agreement at an approved college in Illinois, they will have met ISU's General Education requirement. For information on the Illinois Articulation Initiative, see the ISU Undergraduate Catalog. This 4 year plan of study is intended as a model only. It is based on the 2007-08 version of the catalog. Individual plans may vary dependent on the student's personal needs and course availability.
