SEHA

SEHA is an Illinois State registered student organization that provides opportunities for Environmental Health (EH) and other interested students to:

  • coordinate and operate a professional organization
  • develop leadership skills
  • meet EH professionals/graduates and students

Guest speakers discuss their profession and job opportunities with SEHA and AIHA members monthly during the Fall and Spring semesters. Students learn networking skills on professional and social levels while learning about potential careers in the environmental health profession. Since 1992, SEHA has sponsored the campus Earth Day celebration. During this time, SEHA has integrated and educated the University and greater community in this event through a celebration on the Quad, and nationally and internationally known guest speakers. More information on Earth Day is available at The Green Team Web site. SEHA is open to all Environmental Health Program majors and other interested students. For more information, contact Guang Jin, SEHA faculty advisor or Environmental Health Program Director.
