Change your Major or Minor

Thank you for your interest in a major or minor program in the Department of Health Sciences!

Please review the admission criteria for your program of interest before you apply.

Then, to apply for a major, current ISU students go to the iCampus portal and find the "Apply to Your Major" link on the My Info tab. Students who are new to ISU apply through the Admissions Office.

To apply for a minor, download the Change of Minor form, complete it, and return it to the Health Sciences main office in Felmley Hall of Science room 305.

Admission Criteria:

Academic Good Standing (GPA > 2 .00):

Medical Laboratory Science major

Environmental Health major

Environmental Health minor

Health Information Management major

Safety major

Safety minor

 

GPA > 2.5:

Community Health Education major

School Health Education major

Community Health Education minor

 

GPA > 2.5; a declared major in a Teacher Education discipline; and a minimum of 3 semesters available to complete the course sequence:

School Health Education minor
